Stacie Feller Let's Talk

Professional Executor & Trustee Services

Your Wishes Matter. I'm Here to Carry Them Out.

Guided by Faith. Committed to Your Wishes.

Planning for the future means making important decisions about what will happen to your belongings, your property, and the people you care about.

But once you've made those decisions, who will make sure they're carried out?

That's where I come in.

I provide professional executor and trustee services for individuals who want someone they can trust to carry out the instructions they've established in their will or trust.

I don't make your plans. I help carry them out.

My role is to respect your decisions, follow your legally established instructions, and handle the responsibilities entrusted to me with honesty, compassion, and accountability.

My Services

Two roles, one commitment

Professional Executor Services

When you name me as the executor of your estate, you're choosing someone to take responsibility for administering your estate after your passing, subject to court appointment when required.

My responsibilities may include:

  • Working with your estate attorney through the probate process.
  • Notifying beneficiaries and other appropriate parties.
  • Identifying, securing, and managing estate assets.
  • Coordinating the payment of outstanding debts and expenses.
  • Handling the sale or transfer of property when required.
  • Distributing assets according to your will and applicable law.
  • Maintaining records and communicating with beneficiaries.
  • Completing the necessary steps to close your estate.

My responsibility is to carry out your legally documented wishes, not substitute my personal preferences for yours.

Professional Trustee Services

If you've established a trust, you may need someone to serve as trustee and administer it according to the instructions you've provided.

As trustee, my responsibilities may include:

  • Administering the trust according to its terms.
  • Safeguarding and overseeing trust assets.
  • Coordinating required payments and distributions.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicating with beneficiaries as appropriate.
  • Working with attorneys, accountants, and financial professionals when needed.
  • Carrying out the ongoing responsibilities established in the trust.

My role is to honor the terms of your trust and fulfill the responsibilities of a trustee under applicable law.

Who Might Benefit

Who Might Benefit From My Services?

Not everyone has a family member or friend who is willing or able to take on the responsibility of serving as an executor or trustee. My services may be a good fit if:

You don't have family members available to serve.

You prefer not to place this responsibility on your children or loved ones.

You want a neutral person to handle the administration of your estate.

Your family members live out of state.

You want someone who is organized, accountable, and committed to following your instructions.

You simply want peace of mind knowing someone has agreed to take on this responsibility.

About Me

Meet Stacie Feller

Stacie Feller with her family

I'm Stacie Feller, a longtime Central Texas business owner who believes in doing what you say you're going to do, treating people fairly, and taking responsibility for the commitments you make.

My interest in serving as a professional executor and trustee grew out of my experience helping someone who trusted me to carry out her wishes. That experience showed me how important it is for people to have someone they can count on when the time comes.

I understand that choosing an executor or trustee is a deeply personal decision. You're trusting someone with important responsibilities involving your assets, your loved ones, and the wishes you've carefully established.

My Christian faith guides the way I approach those responsibilities, with integrity, compassion, and respect for the trust placed in me.

I believe that when someone entrusts you with something important, you have a responsibility to handle it faithfully. That's the commitment I bring to this work.

My Role

What I Do and What I Don't Do

I want my role to be very clear from the beginning.

I do

Serve as your designated executor or trustee, when properly appointed or authorized, and carry out the responsibilities established in your estate planning documents and required by law.

I don't

Prepare wills or trusts, provide legal or financial advice, develop estate plans, or tell you how to distribute your assets. Those decisions belong to you, with guidance from your own qualified professionals.

My role is to administer the plan you've already established, not create or change it.

How It Works

From first conversation to service

  1. We Have a Conversation

We'll talk about the responsibilities you're looking for someone to handle and whether my services may be a good fit.

  2. You Work With Your Estate Planning Attorney

Your attorney prepares or updates your legal documents and advises you on the appropriate way to name an executor or trustee.

  3. We Confirm the Arrangement

If we both agree to move forward, we'll document the proposed responsibilities, availability, and compensation arrangements as appropriate.

  4. I Serve When Called Upon

When my role legally begins, I carry out the applicable responsibilities according to your documents and the law.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a family member to serve as an executor or trustee?

No. Many people choose a trusted individual outside their family to serve in these roles, subject to applicable legal qualifications and appointment requirements.

Will you help me write my will or trust?

No. I recommend working with a qualified estate planning attorney. My services begin with the responsibilities associated with serving as an executor or trustee, not creating your estate plan.

Will you decide who receives my assets?

No. Your will or trust establishes your instructions. My responsibility is to administer those instructions in accordance with the documents and applicable law.

Can I name you if I already have a will or trust?

Potentially, yes. Your estate planning attorney can review your documents and determine what changes, if any, are necessary.

Do you charge for your services?

Yes. Compensation and any applicable fees are discussed in advance, with arrangements subject to the governing documents and applicable law.

Will you work with my existing attorney and financial professionals?

Yes. I can coordinate with your existing professionals as appropriate to fulfill the responsibilities of the appointment.
